Responsibilities
- Providing service and customer support during field visits and dispatches by studying system requirements, investigating complaints, diagnosing errors or technical problems, determining proper solutions, conducting tests and resolving problems.
- Responding to customer tech service telephone calls and emails in a timely fashion.
- Installation of new equipment and start-up on-site.
- Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
- Sets daily work schedules.
- Schedules travel arrangements.
- Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
- Downtime would include working in our Assembly Department assembling new machinery as needed.
- Builds positive relationships with customers.
Qualifications and Skills
- A high school diploma or GED.
- At least two years of experience in service.
- Required experience in machinery mechanics and electronics.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, and repair.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
