Field Technical Sales Representative- North TX

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual revenue growth target for the region(s)
• Lead direct reports and develop talent for future career growth
• Ensure strong, productive relationships and complete integration with Field Sales to ensure that individual performance goals are tied to regional/market sales goals
• Participate in alignment with, and execution of, strategic sales goals for designated regions/markets through technical services to customers, builders, contractors, distributors, dealers, specifiers and third party officials
• Raise the level of overall installation quality and brand reputation by developing and delivering value-added training to new and existing customers, builders, and municipalities
• Ensure that local and regional product certifications are maintained and approvals for new certifications are developed as required
• Lead the development/updating of new/current training management systems for customers, builders, contractors, distributors, dealers, specifiers and third-party officials
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and outside sources to market LP products and services to channel partners, builders and contractors
• Represent LP professionally in the field and provide intelligence on current and future competitive realizations
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

Educational background in building science, basic sciences, architecture or related fields, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates capability.

Skills and Experience

• 5 years of experience in construction, building science, or building products industry
• Experience in wood composites industry is desirable
