Field Surveyor/Technician

Responsibilities

• Work under general direction on complex projects in accordance with project requirements and surveying standards.
• Ensure projects are on schedule, within budget and meet the requirements of our clients.
• Duties include coordination of field survey crews, calculation for topo and boundary surveys, and receiving and processing client work orders.
• Must have AutoCAD experience.
• Work may include both office survey and field crew work.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Five or more years of demonstrated surveying experience
• California PLS License or LSIT actively pursuing a California PLS License
• Current experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients
• Field work requires union membership
• Self-motivated and goal oriented, with strong attention to detail
• Solid experience with the MS Office Suite

Benefits

We offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan. The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000, depending upon experience.
