Field Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys and develop installation plans in support of the Program Management Office
• Install and remove telecommunications equipment at sites across the US
• Perform light site prep construction and electrical installation at sites to support infrastructure upgrades
• Trench by hand and using light equipment (mini-excavator, skid steer, trencher, drill, compactor, etc.)
• Provide technical assistance in performing voice-grade, data-comm, digital and IP telecommunications services cutovers
• Afford technical assistance in updating operational telecommunications service records and files
• Climb towers to perform work including installing, aligning or removing microwave antennas and waveguide

Requirements

• Experience leading critical Telecommunications Networks transition, cost and schedule efficiencies
• Experience in telecommunications, networking and communications
• General knowledge in electrical and construction
• Ability to pass background check and obtain a security clearance
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in MS Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.)
• FAA or similar experience preferred
