Field Supervisor - Summer 2027
About the role
Midwest Pool Management is seeking energetic, trustworthy, and reliable Field Supervisors to partner with facility management staff. This fast-paced role involves daily interaction with field staff and District Managers, ensuring teams have the knowledge, skills, resources, and training needed for success. You will provide high-quality, professional pool maintenance for municipal, commercial, and private swimming pools, driving your own vehicle to various locations on a flexible route. This is a seasonal position running from April through the fall, including pool closings and winterization.
Responsibilities
- Perform facility inspections evaluating quality of operation, including safety, cleanliness, professionalism of staff, and customer service.
- Assist managers in maintaining a safe, clean environment that exceeds client expectations.
- Monitor and report on pool supply inventories.
- Assist in scheduling lifeguards, cashiers, and concession workers as needed.
- Assist with pre- and post-season work.
- Document all maintenance issues and keep an up-to-date list.
- Assist managers in troubleshooting problems related to personnel, operations, and water quality.
- Perform basic pool pump and filter maintenance, with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Vacuum, skim, and brush pools.
- Maintain chemical levels, test water, and add chemicals as needed.
- Represent Midwest Pool Management professionally in appearance and attitude, wearing the required company uniform.
- Treat all patrons with kindness and respect.
- Keep pools and surrounding facilities clean.
- Know your schedule and arrive at work on time.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Proactive, motivated, and highly organized.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- A working and reliable cell phone with camera and photo sending/receiving capabilities.
- Ability to follow GPS maps.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, including being part of an on-call schedule.
- Available April through September, with typical shift hours between 10 AM – 9 PM, 7 days a week (hours subject to change).
- Must be available a minimum of 18 hours per week and work at least four weekend days per month (e.g., 2 Saturdays and Sundays, 4 Saturdays, or 4 Sundays).
- Lifeguard certification, or ability to obtain, is highly preferred.

Schedule
This is a seasonal position running from April through the fall. Typical shift hours are between 10 AM – 9 PM, 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employees must be available a minimum of 18 hours per week and work at least four weekend days per month. Hours are subject to change, with up to 40 hours per week possible.
