Field Supervisor - San Rafael

About the role

ACMS is looking for a dedicated individual to join our leadership team in Central Marin County. The Leadership Team oversees and manages local School Crossing Guard programs in this field-based position. Ideal candidates reside in San Rafael, Mill Valley, or Fairfax.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Area Supervisor.
• Familiarize with all Company policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook for School Crossing Guards and the Instruction Manual for Area Supervisors.
• Conduct proper orientation, training, field instruction, and ongoing safety reviews of employees.
• Regularly visit assigned crossing guard locations throughout the area.
• Observe crossing guards' skills while they perform their duties.
• Complete and submit required administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
• Monitor day-to-day activities of crossing guards, help coordinate schedules and staffing within specific geographic areas.

Requirements

• Must meet all requirements for a School Crossing Guard and be fully competent in performing guard duties.
• Demonstrate organizational skills to manage assigned duties.
• Be self-motivated and dependable.
• Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
• Have basic computer skills to create, save, and manipulate documents, send/receive email, and access web-based information.
• Have reliable transportation and maintain proof of current automobile insurance.
• Submit to and successfully complete fingerprinting and/or drug/alcohol screening.
• Maintain a record free of serious offenses.
• Monitor time worked to meet all legal requirements for rest breaks and meal periods.

Qualifications

This position often requires short response times to the job site. Candidates residing in San Rafael, Mill Valley, or Fairfax are preferred. This is a seasonal and part-time position that follows the school calendar—no work during summer, school breaks, holidays, or teacher workdays.

Pay

$24.00 an hour, 5 hours a day, on school days only. Mileage reimbursement provided. This position is eligible for a year-end bonus.

Schedule
