About the role
The Field Supervisor - QA/QC and Compliance is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and compliance activities in the Eastern United States. This role ensures that all operations meet regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily QA/QC activities to ensure compliance with established protocols and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions plans based on audit findings.
- Train and mentor team members on QA/QC procedures and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and present reports on QA/QC activities and compliance status to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA/QC or compliance role.
- Experience working in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or food manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) principles.
