Responsibilities

- Supervise installation and manage personnel, resources, and materials.
- Plan, organize, and direct personnel, resources, and materials.
- Read and interpret floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting as required.
- Evaluate project requirements and validate SOW and project plan.
- Work with Scheduling Administrator to maintain a 2-5 week look-ahead schedule.
- Accurately report project status to Scheduling Administrator.
- Define project compliant equipment and materials.
- Drive problem-solving for recurring issues.
- Share best practices and lessons learned.
- Lead by example in safety and professionalism.
- Manage workload and approve PTO requests.
- Contribute to employee evaluations and provide performance feedback.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and maintain a professional appearance.
- Develop and anchor standard operating procedures.
- Perform duties in a professional manner.
- Meet deadlines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- OSHA 30 within the first 2 weeks in the role.
- BICSI Installer 2 Copper preferred.
- BICSI Installer 2 Fiber preferred.
- BICSI Certified Technician, must be earned within 12 months in role.
- Minimum 3-6 years work experience in Structured Cabling or related industry/construction experience.
- Minimum 3 years of supervision and/or training experience.
- Obtain company-approved (manufacturer) certifications.
- Obtain BICSI RTPM (Registered Telecommunications Project Manager).
- Ability to supervise and train employees.
- Understand and effectively explain structured cabling system aspects.
- Work with PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) guides and standards.
- Knowledge of fundamental business practices and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Positive attitude and high attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-6 years work experience in Structured Cabling or related industry/construction experience.
- Minimum 3 years of supervision and/or training experience.
- Obtain company-approved (manufacturer) certifications.
