Responsibilities

• Safety is E2 Optics' top priority. Follow all safety guidelines and policies.

• Supervise installation and manage personnel, resources, and materials.
• Plan, organize, and direct personnel, resources, and materials.
• Read and interpret floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting as required.
• Evaluate project requirements and validate SOW and project plan.
• Work with Scheduling Administrator to maintain a 2-5 week look-ahead schedule.
• Accurately report project status to Scheduling Administrator.
• Define project compliant equipment and materials.
• Drive problem-solving for recurring issues.
• Share best practices and lessons learned.
• Lead by example in safety and professionalism.
• Manage workload and approve PTO requests.
• Contribute to employee evaluations and provide performance feedback.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and maintain a professional appearance.
• Develop and anchor standard operating procedures.
• Perform duties in a professional manner.
• Meet deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• OSHA 30 within the first 2 weeks in the role.
• BICSI Installer 2 Copper preferred.
• BICSI Installer 2 Fiber preferred.
• BICSI Certified Technician, must be earned within 12 months in role.
• Minimum 3-6 years work experience in Structured Cabling or related industry/construction experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervision and/or training experience.
• Obtain company-approved (manufacturer) certifications.
• Obtain BICSI RTPM (Registered Telecommunications Project Manager).
• Ability to supervise and train employees.
• Understand and effectively explain structured cabling system aspects.
• Work with PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) guides and standards.
• Knowledge of fundamental business practices and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Positive attitude and high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-6 years work experience in Structured Cabling or related industry/construction experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervision and/or training experience.
• Obtain company-approved (manufacturer) certifications.
• Obtain BICSI RTPM (Registered Telecommunications Project Manager).
• Ability to supervise and train employees.
