Field Supervisor - Anderson WSC

The Field Supervisor is the operational liaison overseeing communication, coaching, and support to all Traffic Controllers. The role spends roughly 90 % of time in the field and 10 % in the office, reporting directly to the Operations Manager for the location.

Responsibilities

• Plan job inspection routes and stock vehicles with proper signs, equipment, and supplies.
• Travel to job sites and inspect for safety and quality violations.
• Complete and submit all paperwork associated with field inspections.
• Perform all Crew Lead activities and check job sites, documenting observations.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed at each site.
• Verify appropriate equipment is available and that workers understand equipment requirements.
• Assist in keeping documentation up‑to‑date with workers’ schedules.
• Coordinate client needs as required.
• Provide backup coverage for evening and weekend calls when needed.
• Work flexible hours Monday‑Friday and weekends as required.
• Maintain clean, well‑functioning vehicles.
• Respond to emergency call‑outs as required.
• Read and comprehend the Wright Safety Manual and Employee Handbook.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Professional communication skills; strong verbal communication required.
• Customer‑facing experience preferred.
• Computer literacy and smartphone proficiency.
• Prior experience leading, managing, and supervising a team (preferred).
• Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification preferred; if not held, must obtain within 60 days of hire.

Pay

Starting at $18.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Approximately 90 % field work, 10 % office work.
• Flexible hours Monday‑Friday.
• Weekend and evening coverage as needed.
