Field Supervision Director - Insurance
The Product & Communication Supervision Department at Edward Jones plays a critical role in ensuring compliance and enhancing the client experience. Our associates are the backbone of our success, and we strive to attract, retain, and develop a diverse and talented workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide Branch Teams in building a successful and compliant insurance business.
- Identify trends and patterns in branch and client insurance transactions to determine if progressive supervision is warranted.
- Effectively communicate decisions that have firm and regulatory implications for clients, Financial Advisors, and Branch Teams.
- Consult on insurance purchases and liquidations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and firm policies for annuities.
- Influence and lead discussions regarding insurance business with Branch Teams, Regions, and various stakeholders across the firm.
- Represent the firm through direct contact with clients to discuss insurance transactions and confirm understanding of risks and benefits in relation to industry regulation and firm investment philosophy.
Position Requirements
- Series 7 license required and must be active for a minimum of one year.
- Series 9, 10, 24, 63 and insurance licenses are required or must be obtained within four months of hire.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
