Field Staff - Licensed Vocational Nurse West Los Angeles area

About the role

Skilled Home Health is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their team. The ideal candidate should be a team player, committed to the mission of enhancing the lives of senior residents, and passionate about senior care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver nursing care in accordance with company, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Aid and understand the needs of families in a hospice care setting.
• Drive to patient’s homes in the West Los Angeles area using one’s own vehicle.
• Provide direct care to multiple patients with nursing experience.
• Have experience in a hospice environment.

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or graduation from an approved LVN program.
• Unencumbered license to practice as an LVN.
• Proficiency with electronic medical equipment.
• Knowledgeable of nursing/medical practices and procedures, and/or terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to home health.
• Experience in a home health setting.
• Willing and able to use one’s own vehicle to drive to patient’s homes.
• Current driver's license and proof of insurance.
• On-call availability.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing/medical practices and procedures, and/or terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to home health.
• Must have experience in a home health setting.
• Must have experience in a hospice environment.
