Field Specialist – RYOBI Experience Team (Remote Portland Area)

About the role

As a Field Specialist on the RYOBI Experience Team, you will provide best-in-class support for TTI brand riding mower programs by professionally engaging customers and service centers in the field to expand the riding mower program.

Responsibilities

• Cover a large territory to deliver riding mower customer support
• Diagnose and repair TTI riding mowers in the field
• Recruit and train new service centers for riding mower repair programs
• Train existing service centers within your territory on current and new riding mowers
• Serve as a subject matter expert on riding mower programs
• Visit customer residences to diagnose and repair mowers
• Visit service centers as needed for repair assistance
• Maintain constant communication with all TTI parties
• Provide phone support for customers and service centers when needed
• Submit performance reports upon request
• Collaborate with engineering and project management on identified issues
• Keep a company-provided work vehicle and tools organized and clean
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Extensive travel within territory, including some overnight stays
• Mechanical aptitude—specific rider repair training will be provided
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Prior presenting and/or training experience preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability and desire to satisfy consumers and end-users with minimal supervision
• Empathy and ability to relate to customers
