Field Solutions Engineer III
About the role
The Field Solutions Engineer will work on opportunities in Hybrid/Cloud and Managed Services (CMS) and Large Retail Colocation. The role involves pursuing new‑logo CMS deals by providing pre‑sales technical expertise to the National Sales Team (with regional affinity) through calls and in‑person meetings. The candidate must be well versed in Cloud and Managed Services to deliver complete solutions to new CMS customers, and competent in complex web, application, database, virtualization, internet, networking, and storage technologies, including the ability to design and document appropriate cloud and dedicated architectures that meet clients’ application, performance, and budgetary requirements. The position also supports retail colocation opportunities up to 500 KW and, when colocation is part of a hybrid CMS solution, designs appropriate colocation architectures to satisfy customer needs.
