Field Services Technician

About the role

As a Field Services Technician, you will be an essential part of the IT support team, providing on-site technical assistance and ensuring seamless operation of computer systems and related equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for desktop and laptop systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Assist users with hardware and software issues, ensuring high standards of customer service and technical excellence.
• Support conference room technology such as projectors, display screens, telephony equipment, and conferencing tools like Teams and Zoom.
• Maintain security protocols, including password management, data integrity, and file system security.
• Document technical issues and resolutions accurately in the incident management system and communicate effectively with team members and users.

Requirements

• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop and laptop systems, including system imaging processes.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, flexibility, and effective time management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact confidently with users and team members.
• Proficiency supporting Windows 7, 10, 11, and Mac OS, including mobile platforms like iOS and Android.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, password security, data integrity, and file system security, including experience with Bitlocker.

Pay & Schedule

Location: Fremont, California. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, on-site. Pay range: $34/hour.
