Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to field services employees and equipment at customer sites, ensuring safety and satisfaction for both internal and external customers.
• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
• Supervise site crew to ensure work is performed according to consultant and customer specifications in the most efficient manner possible.
• Oversee crew safety, ensuring employees wear proper safety equipment and follow safe work practices.
• Keep the customer informed of job progress, answer onsite questions, and maintain good customer relations.
• Complete daily documentation to track labor, equipment, supplies, and materials used for billing purposes; keep the project manager informed of changes in usage from contract.
• Serve as backup/fill-in for any crew position as needed.
• Supervise emergency response teams as needed.
• Assist project managers in determining job scope, assessing project needs, and completing customer meetings to discuss project details.
• Partner with the project manager on job documentation and developing health and safety plans.
• Supervise long-term projects and may have direct personnel management responsibilities for any direct reports within Field Services.
• Participate in hiring, performance evaluation, promotion, and discipline decisions as needed.
• Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.

Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 5+ years of hazardous waste field experience (required).
