Responsibilities
- Provide oversight to field services employees and equipment at customer sites, ensuring safety and satisfaction for both internal and external customers.
- Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
- Supervise site crew to ensure work is performed according to consultant and customer specifications in the most efficient manner possible.
- Oversee crew safety, ensuring employees wear proper safety equipment and follow safe work practices.
- Keep the customer informed of job progress, answer onsite questions, and maintain good customer relations.
- Complete daily documentation to track labor, equipment, supplies, and materials used for billing purposes; keep the project manager informed of changes in usage from contract.
- Serve as backup/fill-in for any crew position as needed.
- Supervise emergency response teams as needed.
- Assist project managers in determining job scope, assessing project needs, and completing customer meetings to discuss project details.
- Partner with the project manager on job documentation and developing health and safety plans.
- Supervise long-term projects and may have direct personnel management responsibilities for any direct reports within Field Services.
- Participate in hiring, performance evaluation, promotion, and discipline decisions as needed.
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Requirements
- High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 5+ years of hazardous waste field experience (required).
