About the role
Supervisor Field Services oversees and manages a team or individual to ensure they are performing effectively and safely in their role. They build a safety-focused culture, sustain and retain employees, and manage workflow.
Responsibilities
- Manage workflow
- Oversee team's workflow, build job plans, and resolve issues before dispatching crews.
- Debrief with crews on completed and ongoing jobs, identify gaps, and work solutions with clients and management.
- Define goals, communicate objectives, and monitor team performance.
- Train new hires, ensuring they understand their roles and receive necessary guidance.
- Ensure new hires attend safety orientation and explain company policies or job duties.
- Partner with HR and senior management to report team and individual performance.
- Evaluate each team member, recording punctuality, performance, professionalism, disciplinary issues, adherence to policies, and more.
- Develop and administer performance improvement plans, share changes with teams, and evaluate performance.
- Resolve and assist with employee issues and disputes using active listening skills.
- Conduct scheduled and surprise inspections, ensuring team understands Stop Work Authority actions and safety compliance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 2 years of pumping unit experience
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of equipment safety, maintenance, and storage
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Subject to weekends and holidays
- Clean driving record
- Fluent in English
- Physical demands: standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending, working in extreme heat and cold
