Field Services Engineer – Midwest

About the role

Field-based / home-based position covering the Midwest & Central US territory (TX, OK, AR, LA, MS, KS, MO, NE, IA, IL, IN, OH, WI, MN). The role supports a leading manufacturer of nuclear measurement and radiation detection equipment, performing installation, modification, and repair of complex nuclear measurement equipment and systems with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission complex nuclear measurement equipment and systems at customer sites, including proprietary hardware and software.
• Follow established installation and testing procedures to verify proper system functionality and performance.
• Provide customers with an overview of installed equipment, software, and basic system operating procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures by analyzing hardware, software, and system-level issues.
• Identify the root cause of technical problems and implement appropriate corrective actions to restore system functionality.
