About the role

We are hiring dedicated, motivated, and talented Field Technicians and Field Supervisors who want to elevate their careers. This role focuses on customer satisfaction, project execution, safety, and teamwork.

Key objectives

  • Ensure every client receives professional, courteous, and timely service
  • Contribute to efficient, accurate installations and safe transport of goods
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment
  • Support crew members and take proactive steps to solve problems and improve processes

Responsibilities

  • Represent Wegman Company on-site with professionalism and a customer-first attitude
  • Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and clients to clarify expectations and timelines
  • Notify appropriate team members promptly of any challenges or changes that could impact the project
  • Safely operate company vehicles, following all DOT, state, and federal regulations
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload furniture, equipment, and materials to and from job sites
  • Assemble, install, and adjust office furniture, fixtures, and related equipment according to plans and manufacturer specifications
  • Verify measurements, layouts, and site readiness before beginning work
  • Assist in staging products for installation and maintaining a clean, organized work area
  • Handle tools, equipment, and products carefully to prevent damage and meet company standards
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety protocols on every project
  • Wear required PPE and ensure proper use of tools and equipment
  • Report any accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions immediately
  • Participate in weekly Toolbox Safety Meetings and monthly safety updates

Requirements

Field Technician

  • Minimum 1–2 years of installation, construction, moving, or related experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to safely operate company trucks, vans, and other vehicles
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of using hand tools, power tools, and electronic devices safely
  • Flexible scheduling with occasional overtime required
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions

Field Supervisor

  • Minimum 3 years of field or installation experience with prior leadership responsibility preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with handheld electronics and basic software tools
  • General carpentry skills and ability to operate hand/power tools safely
  • Flexible scheduling with occasional overtime required

Training

No prior furniture installation experience is required. We provide a full training program, including video-based and hands-on training in our fully equipped training room. You’ll gain experience in furniture systems, casework, architectural walls, and more. Under the guidance of a team lead, you’ll also receive on-site training in various customer environments.
