Field Service Technician - Remote in Central Ohio

About the role

Reiser is a leading provider of food equipment and services, known for its commitment to customer success and innovation. The company seeks a Field Service Technician to join its team, responsible for installing new industrial scale equipment, performing routine and preventative maintenance, and providing on-site repairs.

Responsibilities

• Install new packaging and processing machinery
• Perform routine maintenance and on-site repairs
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues using expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
• Spend approximately 80% of the week traveling to food plants in Ohio and neighboring states
• Train customers in preventive maintenance
• Participate in new projects to install or improve the safety and performance of existing and new equipment

Requirements

• Five years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
• Food processing or packaging machinery experience is a plus
• Customer-focused mindset
• Comfortable with 80% overnight travel during the week (Monday-Friday) in the Central USA by automobile or plane
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills is an added bonus
