Job Summary
As a Field Service Technician, Rapid Response provider, you’ll be at the heart of providing immediate, on-site support for urgent equipment issues to minimize customer downtime. You’ll use your skills and experience to deliver top-tier service that keeps our customers moving.
Competencies
- Proficient reading and writing skills
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experienced in computer literacy
- In-depth knowledge of Caterpillar equipment applications, operations, and functions
- Skilled in using Caterpillar diagnostic tools (Electronic Technician, Service Information System)
- Expertise in diagnostic, testing, adjustment, and troubleshooting procedures
- Welding experience is a plus
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required, along with completion of a technical school program (minimum 2 years) focused on diesel or power equipment systems, plus at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on mechanical repair experience with diesel, earthmoving, or industrial equipment
- Must have a valid driver's license

Physical Requirements
- Lifting/Carrying 40 lb.
- Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling
- Standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines
- Dexterity Normal
- Repetitive Motions: Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
