Key Responsibilities
- Perform field testing, inspection, equipment startups, and operating performance evaluations on centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
- Replace packing, mechanical seals, bearings, and components in pumps, motors, blowers, generators, and related equipment.
- C Conduct precision alignment of motors and pumps.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, disassemble, and repair rotating equipment including pumps, motors, and mechanical systems.
- Evaluate pump systems to determine cause of failure, equipment condition, and necessary repairs.
- Assist with removal and reinstallation of pumps and equipment at customer sites.
- Prioritize preventative and predictive maintenance on customer equipment.
- Document detailed information on work orders including pump data, motor data, failure analysis, required parts, and service notes.
Qualifications
- E Experience troubleshooting and repairing pumps, motors, or rotating equipment preferred.
- M Must be able to troubleshoot pumps and motors in the field.
- A Ability to replace seals, bearings, packing, and mechanical components.
- K Familiarity with preventative maintenance and field service repair processes.
- O Knowledge of OSHA job site safety requirements.
- V Valid driver’s license required for fieldbased work.
- M Mandatory preemployment drug screening.
- S Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- I Ability to work independently at customer sites.
- G Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- C Professional, reliable, and customer service oriented.
