Field Service Technician Level 3A

About the role

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical background and enjoy solving problems. They should be comfortable working with various types of engines and electricity, including AC power and DC controls.

Responsibilities

• Pull up daily schedule and ensure no changes
• Travel to job sites in a company-supplied Service Truck
• Perform Routine Planned Maintenance Inspections or Engine Services (oil and filter changes)
• Handle Quoted Service Repairs or Emergency Trouble Calls
• Commission or start up newly installed generators (warranty work only)
• Finalize paperwork and submit electronically
• Sync paperwork with Mobile Technician Application
• Return home after completing tasks
• Only visit the office for parts or supplies
• Be available 24/7 for on-call support

Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Troubleshoot and diagnose engine and electrical repairs on power generation equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and start-ups on power generation equipment
• Maintain parts inventory of service truck
• Process paperwork and electronic submissions within deadlines
