Field Service Technician II - Portland OR

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

NCR Atleos is seeking Field Service Technicians to join our team. The Field Services Team delivers solutions that build long-term relationships with customers by providing prompt and effective service. Responsibilities include:

• Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and engaging manner
• Organize and triage customer issues
• Handle problems before they occur
• Provide technical support for electromechanical equipment such as ATMs and self-checkout systems
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and system overhauls
• Manage network faults, traffic, configuration, security, and remote system access

Skills

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
• Service electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
• Manage everything from network faults and traffic, to configuration, security, and remote system access
• Basic PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
• Rotating and weekend shifts
• Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with your hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying size

Qualifications

• Local candidate to specific geographic area
• Authorized to work in the US
• At least 19 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR Atleos fleet requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
• A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification
• One or more years of related experience

Pay

$40,800.00 to $59,200.00 on the lower end for less experienced and more for well directly experienced professionals.
