Field Service Technician II - Gainesville, FL.

About the Role

NCR Atleos is looking for Field Service Technicians to join our Field Services Team. This role acts as a first line response to customers, delivering solutions that build long-term relationships. You will organize, triage customer issues, and handle problems proactively. Training is provided through virtual and hands-on classroom sessions, enabling fast learning and impactful contributions. This role keeps commerce running globally and serves as an ambassador for the NCR Atleos brand.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self-checkout systems within an assigned territory.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and system overhauls.
• Manage network faults, traffic, configuration, security, and remote system access.

Requirements

• Local candidate to the specific geographic area (Gainesville, FL).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least 19 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR Atleos fleet requirements.
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day.
• Rotating and weekend shifts.
• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and working with hands.
• Repetitive grasping and manipulating objects of varying sizes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
• A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification.
• One or more years of related experience.

Pay

Salary range: $40,800.00 to $59,200.00, with higher compensation for well-experienced professionals.
