About the Role
Ring Power Corporation, a full-line Caterpillar dealer with over 2,300 employees across 20+ locations, seeks a skilled technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair customer and company-owned equipment. This role requires a commitment to safety, technical excellence, and teamwork, with opportunities for training and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Conduct all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to safety, environmental, and contamination control policies; wear proper personal protective equipment.
- Attend and successfully complete required technician training classes.
- Maintain necessary set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble, and assemble components to manufacturer's specifications.
- Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company owned equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
- Work in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly looking for ways to improve methods of work, work area, and safety standards.
- Inspect components to ensure maximum parts are being reused to control repair costs.
- Complete required documentation utilizing appropriate software to document repairs performed on equipment, and accounting for repair times.
- Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and ensure supervisor is aware of any cost overrun prior to job completion.
- Approach work in a positive manner, maintain conduct supportive of the work Team, and set the standard for others to follow.
- Contribute to Team efforts by accomplishing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality expectations.
- Train and/or mentor others in department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience.
- Credentials:
- Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
- Valid Driver License.
- Successfully completed all required training curriculum to be designated Service Field Tech II.

- Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products, and relevant Dealer software programs.
