Field Service Technician I

About the role

EnerSys is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician I to join our growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site service, maintenance, and repair for our diverse range of products and equipment at customer locations. You will specialize in our Energy Systems solutions, providing support to customers who rely on our products for essential services like telecommunications, data centers, emergency power, and more. This includes maintaining and servicing uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), switchgear, and other critical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Shadow experienced technician on service calls.
• Perform basic equipment checks
• Travel to customer sites to assist with installation and repair of equipment.
• Under supervision, perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing timely, efficient, and professional service.
• Effectively communicate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer support and service delivery.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and the company to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000 standards.
• Operate material handling equipment safely
