Field Service Technician- Fire Alarm & Security Systems

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm and security systems
• Inspect smoke detectors, motion sensors, alarm panels, and related equipment
• Replace batteries and perform preventative maintenance services
• Troubleshoot minor system issues and identify potential concerns
• Complete accurate digital inspection reports and service documentation
• Utilize software platforms including Sedona and BuildingReports
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site
• Cookordinate with internal service and support teams as needed
• Maintain organized records and follow inspection procedures carefully

Preferred Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in fire alarm, low voltage, electrical, or security systems work
• NICET or IPSI certification (preferred)
• Willingness to obtain industry certifications if not already certified
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
