Responsibilities

• Perform installations, maintenance, and service calls at customer locations quickly and efficiently
• Maintain electromechanical equipment, such as self‑checkout systems, within an assigned territory
• Complete maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance (PM), and system refurbishment work
• Organize and triage customer requests
• Intervene before issues arise to provide timely solutions
• Communicate openly, helpfully, and professionally with customers
• Deliver what customers need at the right time through formal training

Requirements

• Reside locally within the assigned geographic area
• Authorized to travel to the United States
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets NCRV fleet requirements
• Computer skills, basic electronics knowledge, and familiarity with certain hardware and operating systems
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to travel extensively, including driving several hours per day
• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lb unassisted, and up to 150 lb with assistance
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repeatedly perform grasping and handling motions involving objects of various sizes

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of high‑capacity servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
• A+, CompTIA, or N+ certifications
• One year or more of relevant experience

Pay

• Hourly rate: $22.35 to $24.43, depending on location and level of experience
• Overtime paid at time‑and‑a‑half
