About the role
Position will work in Portsmouth, NH and surrounding area.
Responsibilities
- Complete a ~3 month in-field and classroom training program to gain necessary skills and tools.
- Travel to customer sites in your region to install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate advanced measuring instruments.
- Work hands-on with high-tech CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) using mechanical and electronic aptitude.
- Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
- Work independently while representing the company in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Requirements
- Minimum: High school graduate, completed GED or equivalent.
- Or: Tech school, associate, or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, or related fields.
- Or: Training and experience from a Military Technical School.
- Prior experience working with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
- Microsoft operating system knowledge required.
- Capable of unassisted physical lift of one article weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Able and willing to work a minimum of 50 hours per work week (regular + overtime).
- Ability to work in an industrial production shop floor environment.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Nice to Haves
- Previous experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems.
- Previous CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) installation and troubleshooting experience preferred but not required.
Pay
Competitive base pay offered. Overtime averages 10 hours per week and is paid at time and a half, including travel time. Eligible for an annual bonus program.
