About the role

Position will work in Portsmouth, NH and surrounding area.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a ~3 month in-field and classroom training program to gain necessary skills and tools.
  • Travel to customer sites in your region to install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate advanced measuring instruments.
  • Work hands-on with high-tech CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) using mechanical and electronic aptitude.
  • Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
  • Work independently while representing the company in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum: High school graduate, completed GED or equivalent.
  • Or: Tech school, associate, or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, or related fields.
  • Or: Training and experience from a Military Technical School.
  • Prior experience working with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
  • Microsoft operating system knowledge required.
  • Capable of unassisted physical lift of one article weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Able and willing to work a minimum of 50 hours per work week (regular + overtime).
  • Ability to work in an industrial production shop floor environment.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Nice to Haves

  • Previous experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems.
  • Previous CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) installation and troubleshooting experience preferred but not required.

Pay

Competitive base pay offered. Overtime averages 10 hours per week and is paid at time and a half, including travel time. Eligible for an annual bonus program.
