Field Service Technician

About the Role

The Field Service Technician is the face of WillScot to our clients, delivering technical knowledge, customer service, and professionalism while troubleshooting and servicing buildings in the field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls related to HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry within the branch territory.
• Explain repairs and services to customers courteously, both over the phone and in person.
• Maintain a safe working environment and practice safe habits, complying with client safety standards on‑site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is helpful.
• General contractor’s license preferred.
• Current valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Additional requirements for HVAC duties:
  • Knowledge and experience with HVAC equipment and appliances.
  • Appropriate HVAC licenses as required by law.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, salespeople, contractors, shop personnel, and WillScot employees.

Pay

Base wage range: $30.90 – $40.15 per hour. Individual rates consider factors such as degrees or certifications, skill level, years of experience, expected overtime, and variable compensation (e.g., bonus or commission).
