Field Service Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot, repair, and service Weber equipment on-site
• Install new solutions and ensure full functionality per specifications
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and operational issues
• Serve as the communication link between customers and Weber teams
• Document service work accurately in Salesforce within 24 hours
• Travel extensively to customer sites (including Germany as needed)
• Communicate job status and updates with service leadership
• Recommend future parts and service solutions to customers
• Ensure customers understand equipment operation and safety before departure
• Provide various customer training requirements as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree or technical school diploma in electrical, mechanical maintenance, or related field
• 3+ years of field service, packaging, or industrial maintenance experience, 5+ years preferred
• Equivalent education and experience considered

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, electrical, pneumatic, and machine shop experience, ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, and operational systems, preventative maintenance and problem-solving mindset
• Professional Skills: Excellent customer service and communication abilities, comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, able to stay calm and professional in high-pressure environments, strong documentation and organizational skills, proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce, and Concur experience is a plus, maintain a business casual attire within the Weber Uniform Policy, working knowledge of managing expenses and expense reporting
