Field Service Technician

Primary products include Xerox, Ricoh, Canon, Konica Minolta multi-functional equipment, and Kyocera printers, as well as electronic document management software and integrations.

About the role

This position is an intermediate-level technician responsible for the timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair of office product equipment. The role focuses on promoting and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction to influence the sale of office product equipment offered by UBEO Business Services.

Responsibilities

• Maximize equipment up-time through timely response, effective repairs, and selective customer training to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Manage asset and resource utilization to achieve targeted financial results and create value for UBEO and customers.
• Analyze customer needs, recognize business opportunities, and influence sales volume growth.
• Communicate and interact professionally with customers, field service, sales, management, and administration.
• Complete all administrative tasks on time and error-free, including call close information, parts usage reporting, and customer meter readings.
• Perform additional activities that support UBEO and the service organization.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of industry or equivalent experience.
• Associate Degree or equivalent technical training.
• Successful completion of Manufacturer Core Basics and 2 Manufacturer Training Classes.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle for travel to client sites.
