About the role
TriMech Solutions, an engineering company that provides engineering teams with a range of 3D design and 3D printing solutions, is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support our client’s technical issues. The role involves general technical phone support of Stratasys 3D Printers, on-site repair visits/installations, preventative maintenance visits, and coordinating repair solutions between Stratasys and the client. The Field Service Technician will support multiple 3D printer technologies, including fused deposition modeling, polyjet technologies, and other Stratasys-provided technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support and explicit instructions for Stratasys 3D Printers and Stratasys’ branded products.
- Perform and support clients with technical troubleshooting for 3D Printers.
- Assist clients with the proper operation and maintenance of 3D Printers.
- Conduct annual preventative maintenance visits as needed.
- Install new 3D Printers on-site.
- Provide guidance and problem-solving for 3D Printer-related issues for TriMech’s clients.
- Liaise with clients, in-house staff, and partners regarding technical information related to Stratasys and associated products.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in the industry or equivalent.
- Ability to access high-security facilities.
- Electro-mechanical repair and troubleshooting experience.
- Excellent customer relations skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to work in a busy environment and adapt to an ever-changing daily/weekly schedule of tasks.
- Willingness to travel up to 3-4 days per week, including occasional overnight stays.
- Self-starter requiring minimal management oversight to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Valid driver’s license, including a Real ID-compliant license.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening, based on company policy, federal regulations, and applicable state and local laws.
