Field Service Technician

You’ll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and upgrades, you’ll play a key role in keeping multifunction printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services (MPS) environments running at their best. What you’ll do Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locationsProvide product training and support to customersDiagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectivelyMaintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenanceComplete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as neededAccurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures What You’ll Bring High School Diploma or GED3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment, Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge systems, fingerprint equipment, or comparable productsRelevant education, certifications, or internships in related fields may be considered in lieu of the required experienceIntermediate computer skills and strong electro-mechanical aptitudeAbility to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reachingValid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business Earn Well Hourly range $24.00-$28.00, depending on experience.Monthly Performance Based Technician Bonus - up to $6,000 per year—$450 per month, plus an accelerator.$1,000 sign on bonusAuto Reimbursement Program BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) plan with match and company provided life insuranceEmployee Assistance Programs, pre-tax spending accounts, pet insurance, and employee discountsGenerous paid holidays, vacation & sick/personal business/volunteer daysOpportunities for career growth within a global technology organization About UsToshiba America Business Solutions is a leader in digital technology, delivering innovative print, document management, and workflow solutions that help organizations across a wide range of industries.
