Field Service Technician
About the role
The VERIFI Field Service Technician will be responsible for interfacing regularly with plant management, batch plant operators, concrete mixer truck drivers, and truck maintenance management and mechanics. Based at home, the candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time at customer sites, requiring independent work.
Responsibilities
- Interface with plant management, batch plant operators, concrete mixer truck drivers, and truck maintenance management and mechanics
- Coordinate problem resolution with other employees as needed, serving as the local liaison and first line of contact to the customer
- Install, maintain, and repair Verifi systems and admixture dispensing equipment
- Assist Field Sales Representatives in winning and maintaining customer contracts
- Understand the impact of customer satisfaction on achieving corporate goals
Requirements
- Possess a broad array of knowledge including computer systems configuration, mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, 12/24 volt DC electrical systems, and hydraulic system principals
- Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with both colleagues and customers
- Organized and detail-oriented, particularly with regard to maintaining records
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, meters, gauges
- Experience in field service type work
- Flexible work hours, overnight travel
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to respond to short notice project work and emergency service
Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred with an Associates Degree in Mechanical or Electrical focus

Pay
$52,500 - $82,500 per year. Base pay may vary based on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
Schedule flexibility is required, including overnight travel.
