About the role
PDC Facilities, Inc. is a leader in the design/build of relocatable diagnostic imaging buildings, fixed-site MRI suite environments, and patient experience products. We are seeking a Commissioning Technician to join our patient experience team.
Work location: Hartland, Wisconsin (Company Headquarters). Reports to: Field Service Commissioning Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the delivery of commissioning products to the site.
- Review the drawings internally and with the site Electrical Contractor.
- Answer questions from the site regarding the installation of the Caring Suite.
- Attend meetings pertaining to the scope of commissionings and the Caring Suite.
- Perform commissionings.
- Be an internal point of contact for off-site commissioning techs.
- Drive process improvements.
- Ensure proper documentation is complete, accurate, and logged in the Customer Relation Management Database.
- Facilitate internal communication between service, training, shipping, and manufacturing departments.
- Conduct close-out meetings with techs, service, and training departments.
- Use and continually develop leadership skills.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze completion of short and long-term goals.
- Travel ~50% of the time.
Requirements
- Associate degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering Technology.
- Knowledge of system-level network architecture.
- Understanding of standard AC wiring practices.
- Familiarity with electric code.
- At least 1 year of applied experience in a professional environment.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals and groups.
- Ability to manage one’s time within deadlines and general direction of their supervisor.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Project management experience is a plus.
