Field Service Technician

About the role

Parish Tractor is looking for a motivated and dependable Field Service Technician to join our Meridian, MS team! This position performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customers and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment
• Diagnosing technical problems
• Replacing malfunctioning components
• Upgrading systems for efficiency
• Running equipment tests to ensure stability
• Adhering to the company's safety standards
• Participating in Service EDUCATE Training programs for continuous education and development of skills and knowledge
• Maintaining current knowledge of Kubota Equipment and allied products

Requirements

• Must have an adequate tool set to perform job responsibilities (special tools provided)
• Experience in communicating effectively verbally and in writing
• Experience with basic computer functions
• Valid driver's license required
• Medical card for DOT purposes will be required
• Able to work overtime and on Saturdays
• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• At least 2 years related experience preferred

Physical requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Position required prolonged periods of standing and short periods of working in slightly awkward positions
