Responsibilities
If you are a valve technician who enjoys hands-on field work, solving mechanical problems on-site, and taking pride in getting critical equipment back into service, this role is for you. We are looking for a Field Service Valve Technician to support valve repair and service work in the field and in the shop. You will troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, assemble, calibrate, and test safety relief valves, isolation valves, actuators, and related equipment while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and documentation.
- Perform inspection, teardown, repair, assembly, calibration, and testing of valves and actuators
- Diagnose failures and recommend the proper repair scope
- Complete field service work safely and ensure repairs meet applicable code and customer requirements
- Document repair, testing, and service activity in real time using photos, reports, and work order records
