Field Service Technician

Essential Duties

• Conduct on-site equipment inspections and maintenance at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues in the field and perform necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with Service Manager to schedule and prioritize field service calls.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
• Builds knowledge of dealer supported product lines, service standards, and procedures and keeps abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the distributor.
• Follows all safety protocols and maintains a safe work environment while working in the field.
• Maintain remote parts inventory.
• Willingness for overnight travel including some multi-day events.
• Willing to take an active role in acquiring new business opportunities in AOR.
• Act as ambassador of the company with customers.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working in a full-time technician/mechanic role on heavy duty chassis.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical experience.
• Welding/cutting torch experience.
• Excellent skills in communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention to detail.
• Working usage of MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Desirable Qualifications

• Direct industry experience.
• Class B CDL.
• ADA Requirements.

Compensation

This role offers a salary range of $27.00 - $50.00 per hour, with final compensation determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
