Field Service Technician

About the role

Perform diagnostic analysis and repairs on state-of-the-art vehicle wash equipment.

Assist in the installation of new vehicle wash equipment as necessary.

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.

Maintain an accurate inventory of parts on company-provided vehicle.

Maintain tools and test equipment in a professional manner.

Consult with customers on operation and maintenance of equipment.

Occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic analysis and repairs on state-of-the-art vehicle wash equipment.
• Affix new vehicle wash equipment as necessary.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Keep an accurate inventory of parts on company-provided vehicle.
• Preserve tools and test equipment in a professional manner.
• Communicate with customers on operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Occasionally travel overnight.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Experience servicing Vehicle Wash equipment.
• Preferred: Experience troubleshooting and repairing Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems.
• Preferred: Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) compute devices.
• Preferred: Proficient with Microsoft Office | Smartsheet | Service Pro.
• Preferred: Licenses/Certificates: Valid Driver’s License.
• Preferred: Technology/Equipment: Familiarity utilizing Mobile Phones and Tablets.

Qualifications

• Work is performed at various customer locations while servicing and installing equipment.
• Adapt to changing work environments and safely perform duties in a variety of settings.
• Lift up to 50 pounds independently.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Perform the mental and physical requirements necessary to successfully carry out the essential functions of the position.

Pay

The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $27 and $40 hourly. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below:

Hourly, Full time, Mon-Fri with Rotating Weekends.
