About the role

You will safely service customers at customer sites for equipment manufacturing by the LAMT Concord facility including troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and calibrating equipment.

You will provide equipment demonstrations and training for customers, as well as conduct in-house equipment repairs and telephone support for customers.

You will prepare cost estimates and quotations for repairs and calibrations as well as other administrative tasks needed.

Additionally, you will have additional duties including but not limited to selling spare parts, consumables, and services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide equipment demonstrations and training for customers, as well as conduct in-house equipment repairs and telephone support for customers
  • Prepare cost estimates and quotations for repairs and calibrations as well as other administrative tasks needed
  • Have additional duties including but not limited to selling spare parts, consumables, and services

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is required, while a 2-year technical degree or equivalent and 5 years related experience is preferred
  • The ideal candidate has the ability to read and understand technical, mechanical, and electrical drawings, including basic wiring diagrams
  • The ability to troubleshoot process equipment to the component level, industrial gases, water, electrical, mechanical
  • The right person has the ability to use common PLC software programs to field test, troubleshoot, and program equipment
  • This role will require travel up to 75% of the time both domestically and internationally

Qualifications
