Field Service Technician

About the role

HB Staffing is seeking a Field Service Technician to join a growing and dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Travel 6–10 times per year for 1–3 weeks at a time to customer sites across the U.S.
• Troubleshoot electrical or electromechanical equipment.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, Chemistry, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Previous experience troubleshooting electrical or electromechanical equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Field Service Engineering experience.
• Background in electrical or electronics Engineering.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with gas handling systems.

Pay

$70,000 to $75,000/year

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 4:45pm (ability to work overtime as needed)
