Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Load and change RO/UF and other membranes
• Perform CIP (Clean in place) on water systems
• Mechanically install/replace pipes, equipment, instruments and valves for water filtration equipment
• Glue PVC pipe and fittings
• Measuring, cutting, drilling, tapping for supports or installation
• Pull wires, label them, then land to devices
• Ensure a good quality product
• Support process improvements
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Carry out all other related tasks
• LOTO (Lock-Out-Tag-Out) equipment
• Fill out field reports

Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
• Ability to read technical plans
• Available to travel 75% of the time
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be autonomous
• Be organized, rigorous and meticulous
• Be an excellent team player
• Have a positive and professional attitude towards your team and internal and external clients
• Exceptional work ethic with the ability to work without constant supervision
• Must be able lift, push, pull at least 50-75 lbs
• Travel (vehicle or commercial airline) to customer sites with periodic visits to the USA Service Office in Ramsey, MN and also to various locations for company meetings
