Field Service Technician

About the role

In this hands-on role, you’ll perform maintenance, repair, and commissioning services onboard vessels, both while docked and underway, supporting the reliable operation of incinerator and food waste systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and commission incinerator and food waste systems
• Carry out mechanical and electrical service work onboard vessels
• Provide professional technical support and customer service
• Prepare accurate job reports and collect service data for analysis
• Work independently or as part of a team in challenging marine environments

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Valid passport, driver’s license, and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Comfort working onboard vessels, including confined spaces and non-standard schedules
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in the marine industry
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, and diesel burners is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Clear communication skills in English and a customer-focused, results-driven mindset
• Physical ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces

Additional Details

Office location: Hollywood, Florida. Local travel to Port Miami, Port Everglades, and West Palm Beach (personal transportation required).
