Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and maintain field equipment to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, and emergency repairs on all EAM equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using test equipment and hand tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering to deliver top-tier customer service.
  • Generate detailed service reports explaining work performed, parts used, and follow-up actions.
  • Create and manage daily schedules and travel itineraries to meet customer needs.
  • Work efficiently and calmly under pressure to maintain high standards of customer service.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of machine systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, bearings, levers, channels, pulleys, cams, and camshafts.
  • Basic experience with control systems using Allen Bradley, Siemens, and B&R PLCs.
  • Electromechanical expertise with conveyance systems, understanding of sensors, electric motors, and their interaction.
  • Ability to use a multimeter, perform point-to-point testing, and read electrical schematics.
  • Able to use calipers and micrometers.
  • Initiative and self-motivation to work independently.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, including web-based service reporting, video conferencing, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Extensive travel within the U.S. (80%)

Skills

  • Understanding of machines and their systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, bearings, levers, channels, pulleys, cams, and camshafts.
  • Basic experience with control systems using Allen Bradley, Siemens, and B&R PLCs.
  • Electromechanical experience with conveyance systems, understanding of sensors, electric motors, and their interaction.
  • Able to use a multimeter, perform point-to-point testing, and read electrical schematics.
  • Able to use and read calipers and micrometers.
  • Able to take initiative and work independently.
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally through various media.
  • Able to travel extensively within the U.S.

  • In-house training and continuous on-the-job field training with senior field staff.

  • Supporting parts inventory for equipment maintenance.
  • Company supplied tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of field or plant equipment maintenance experience.
  • Corrugated industry experience a plus.
  • Experience with strapping machines, especially Mosca preferred.
  • High school diploma.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Solid mechanical and electrical background.
  • PLC experience preferred.
  • Associates degree a plus.
