About the role
e3 Diagnostics is the leading provider of audiology equipment sales and service solutions in the United States. With over 30 offices nationwide and teams of highly experienced hearing and balance instrument experts, we bring unmatched local expertise in audiological instrumentation.
This position requires regional travel to customer sites across parts of NY and CT, including New York, NY; Poughkeepsie, NY; Norwalk, CT; and New Haven, CT. Some overnight and weekly travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform ANSI-certified calibrations, maintenance, equipment repairs, and installations on a wide range of audiology equipment.
- Stay updated and attend all required training.
- Build and maintain customer relationships; provide service and technical support.
- Collaborate with Office Administrator for scheduling.
- Maintain accurate customer and equipment records.
- Identify potential clients and cultivate sales opportunities to support territory growth.
- Ensure preventative maintenance is completed according to best practices.
- Travel up to 80%; work independently with minimal supervision.
- Calibrate equipment received at the regional office and coordinate returns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A two-year Technical or Engineering degree or related experience required.
- Willingness to follow the guidelines detailed in the e3 Proficiency and Certification handbook.
- Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
- Clear background check including criminal history and education verification.
- Must pass a drug test.

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods during a daily routine.
- Physically able to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bending and lifting throughout the workday.
- Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching depending on variables at customer location.
Pay
Starting salary of $60,000, with commission eligibility after training and required competencies are met (typically after 6+ months).

Schedule
