About the role

Cyclonaire is seeking a mid- to senior-level Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves direct interaction with customers to ensure the successful installation, maintenance, and optimization of advanced pneumatic conveying systems globally.

Responsibilities

  • Independently execute and lead service activities at customer sites
  • Represent Cyclonaire professionally and confidently
  • Commission, startup, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Cyclonaire systems
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-related service work
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues using structured troubleshooting methods
  • Lead or support commissioning of complex systems (senior-level scope)
  • Identify patterns, systemic issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide guidance or informal mentoring to other technicians as experience allows
  • Deliver clear, accurate documentation and service reporting
  • Communicate effectively with customers, operators, and internal teams

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology or equivalent experience
  • Mid- to senior-level field service, industrial maintenance, or automation experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with PLC-based systems, commissioning, and industrial controls preferred
  • Ability to manage extensive travel (80–90%, domestic and international)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a passport
  • Must live in close proximity to a major airport
