About the role
Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified Field Service Technician to provide onsite technical support in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, clean MVR, and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide break/fix support
- Perform IMAC tasks
- Perform a variety of tasks such as install workstations, repair printers, work on point-of-sale equipment, perform decommissions
Requirements
- A+ CompTIA certification is a plus
- Technical hardware experience
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building competence
- Excellent time management and reporting skills
- Familiar with various operating systems (e.g., Windows OS, OSX, Linux/Unix)
- Proficient communicator with emotional intelligence insight for explaining IT terminologies at the client’s level of understanding
- Insight into POS, PC, Printers, Thin Clients, APs, Servers, Network switch equipment
- Able to lift 25 lbs
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship
- W2 employment only, no Corp to Corp
Pay
The rate for this position is between $15.75 - $21.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
