Field Service Technician

About the role

Aspen Contracting is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to perform hands‑on exterior construction work on roofing, siding, gutters, and related components. The position is based at 101/118 Lees Summit in the Field Service Techs department and includes a company‑provided truck, tools, and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing common roofing issues
• Addressing siding and exterior repair needs
• Working with and repairing gutter systems
• Identifying installation or maintenance issues
• Performing basic carpentry and general repair work
• Climbing ladders and accessing roofs as needed
• Handling and transporting materials
• Following safety guidelines and established installation procedures
• Helping ensure every customer is satisfied with the finished project

Skills

• Hands‑on experience in roofing, siding, gutters, exterior construction or home repair
• Basic carpentry
• Construction maintenance and repairs
• Comfortable climbing ladders and getting on roofs
• Able to handle physically demanding work, including lifting materials and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying environments
• Take pride in quality workmanship
• Dependable, organized, and able to manage time effectively
• Friendly and professional approach when working with customers

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in construction, maintenance, or a related hands‑on field
• Previous hands‑on experience with roofing, siding, and gutters
• Valid driver's license
• Current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background check and MVR
• High school diploma or equivalent

$22.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Approximately 45 hours per week; full‑time, year‑round work.
