Field Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades at customer sites, following established standard operating procedures to ensure optimal system performance.
• Aid the AMAROK Install Department with site planning, jurisdictional compliance, inspections, and system commissioning after construction is completed.
• Organize and prioritize daily service calls and routes, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of maintenance and repair work.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers by delivering outstanding service, training, and support.
• Provide assistance to other Field Service Technicians as needed, fostering a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• Drive safely while following all local, state, and federal traffic laws to reach service locations efficiently.
• Maintain accurate daily inventory levels, complete service reports, and submit documentation within required deadlines.
• Track and submit expense reports in compliance with company policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be available to travel Monday–Friday weekly.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and installing systems (experience with access control systems and/or fire alarms is a plus).
• OSHA certification and/or familiarity with OSHA compliance is strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects as needed & safely climb a ladder up to 30 ft.
• Ability to operate various forms of power equipment such as: aerial lifts, concrete saws, jack hammers, augers, mixers, etc.
• Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot system issues effectively.
• Basic Math Skills – Necessary for measuring, calculating, and troubleshooting system configurations.

Pay

Approximate Year End Earnings: $65,000 – $85,000 (inclusive of base pay and average overtime).

Schedule

Monday–Friday overnight travel within a designated service radius of approximately 150–250 miles.
